A beloved daughter, loving friend, passionate DJ, and a true source of inspiration.
She left her mark on many souls with her rebellious spirit. Her authenticity was pure and real! Those who knew her felt the kindness of her heart, so big that can fit countless universes!
Ana-Maria passed away at the age of 29, just 3 months after she was diagnosed with NUT cancer (A rare and aggressive disease with no cure as of today).
She fought like a lion and her hurricane spirit will never fade. In fact, it still lives on - in us, in her music, and in the dreams she inspires us to pursue. Even in the hardest moments, Ani lived with a fire in her heart – radiating music, joy, and boundless love for the people and world around her.
Her friends called her Ana Uragana, symbolizing a hurricane, because she moved through life with unstoppable energy, passion, and heart. Known in the music universe as DJ Inferna, she brought people together through rhythm, freedom, and love.
Her sets weren’t just music: they were pure emotion, connection, and soul.
Ana Uragana Foundation
The Ana Uragana Foundation was created to honor Ani’s spirit, her courage, her creativity, and her deep belief that dreams are meant to be lived.
We exist to support young creative talents, celebrate Ani’s spirit through music and community, and contribute to causes close to her heart, creating opportunities for learning, creativity, and hope.
What We Do
Scholarships: Supporting young creative talents from Bulgaria and beyond, helping them pursue education, mentorship, and opportunities to develop their passion and artistic potential.
Inferna Sunset Festival: An annual celebration of Ani’s life and spirit, uniting music, friendship, and purpose. The festival raises funds for our scholarships and for causes close to Ani’s heart, including NUT cancer research and Support Children and Families Affected by Cancer
Causes We Support
NUT Cancer Research: Supporting the University Hospital Tübingen (UKT), a European leader in NUT carcinoma research and treatment, contributing to critical research and greater understanding of this rare and aggressive cancer.
Supporting Children and Families Affected by Cancer: In honor of Ani’s deep love for family, we support the Tommasino Foundation, which provides vital care to children with cancer and helps families stay close to their children during treatment.
